“Our relations with Israel are excellent as never before,” Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in joint statements with the leaders of Cyprus and Israel in Jerusalem.

In this regard, he thanked the leaders of Israel and Cyprus for the assistance they provided to our country in extinguishing the fires in the summer.

Regarding the behavior of Turkey, he reminded that unfortunately he took provocative actions in the maritime economic zone of Cyprus, while for the Cyprus issue he reiterated that the only viable solution is the one that will respect all the decisions of the Security Council and will provide for abolition of the anachronistic system. of guarantees as well as withdrawal of the occupying troops from the island.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis also referred to the economic development in Greece as well as to the prospects for the period after the pandemic, while he stressed that we expect even more investments in our country from Israel.
