Regarding the possible meeting between Mitsotakis and Erdogan in Prague, Mr. Economou said that with today’s conditions it seems unlikely, but no one knows what can be done until then.

We are neither afraid nor terrorized by Turkish provocation, but no one can overcome the fact that for a long time there has been a frenzy in Turkey against Greece, commented the government representative, Yannis Oikonomou, speaking on SKAI television.

He noted that Ankara’s goal is for Greece to lose its temper and emphasized that we must give due importance to what is happening on the opposite side.

He underlined that Greece has increased its power and in the field has strengthened its deterrent capacity.

However, he noticed that there should always be a communication channel and we can talk.

However, he added that the other side has chosen to poison the minds of citizens inside the country.

We are expanding our policy in a coordinated and efficient manner and to be ready to face any challenge, said the government spokesman.

He reiterated that the government has made the planning so as not to disrupt the natural gas supply chain and added that we will not reach extreme scenarios (eg blackouts).

For the report Lytra noted that each study it must be evaluated and commented on by experts.

He added that the government’s goal was to keep citizens from arriving ICUs, and within the framework of the possible strengthened the ICUs as well.
