The Greek government has not procured malicious software and no state security authority in Greece has used it, the government representative Yiannis Oikonomou clarified again to SKAI, answering a related question.
“There is no evidence, except for a series of guesses, which some use to draw arbitrary conclusions,” stressed Mr. Economou.
He pointed out that with the new legislative regulations that were submitted to public consultation for the process of removing the confidentiality of communications, for cyber security and the protection of citizens’ personal data, the Greek state is even more protected.
