As reported by Sky’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, the representative of the Government of National Unity of Libya Mohammed Hammoud said that in response to Dendias’ stance, Greece’s Chargé d’Affaires in Tripoli was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and said it was also decided to recall the Libyan Chargé d’Affaires in Athens for consultations. “The attitude of the Greek Foreign Minister is an insult to the Libyan people”
Stating that this attitude of the Greek minister was met with regret by the Libyan government and that they will not announce any other measures that will be taken in this regardHammude said that “The attitude of the Greek Foreign Minister today is an insult to the Libyan people and the government.”
Hammude added that Dendia’s plane went to Benghazi in eastern Libya.
