On Thursday, December 1st, a major event is planned with the central theme: “For a decent standard of living. Our trial is a response to the crisis” in a central hotel in Athens.
Nikos Androulakis, as reported by Charilaou Trikoupis sources, consistently highlighted in the previous period the reduction in the purchasing power of households, the distorted model of energy subsidies that the Government follows and ends up subsidizing the surplus profits of energy companies, the gap in interest rates on deposits and loan interest rates as well as the immediate need to protect the first home.
The President of PASOK-Movement of Change is expected to present a comprehensive framework of proposals, just as was done a month ago with the submission of 8 proposals for the upgrading of the NHS.
PASOK-Movement for Change’s proposals will reportedly aim at reducing indirect taxes on food and fuel, ceilings on the retail energy market, strengthening independent authorities and market control mechanisms in order to combat oligopolistic practices, protection of the First residence of weak borrowers according to the amendment brought a few days ago by the Parliamentary Group, fair energy transition, etc.
