Tsipras: This will be the last budget for the Mitsotakis government

The debate on the state budget for 2023 is coming to a close with the speeches of the political leaders – The Minister of Finance is on the podium

In high tones and with personal references to the prime minister, whom he described as “dark”, the speech of the president of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras started in the debate on the state budget for 2023. of the armed forces, while closing his speech, he called on the prime minister to announce “an hour earlier elections”.

Mr. Tsipras began his speech by saying that this will be the last budget of the Mitsotakis government. Since it will be the last, it will also be a budget that will not be implemented, because a new majority will undertake to revise it. Your budget defiantly bleeds the many for the benefit of the few. This is your plan. The majority fail to make it through the month, a handful defiantly win. This is your policy. I hear you celebrating so-called successes in the field of the economy, saying that you supposedly saved the country and the economy, who, the faction that bankrupted the country twice, in 2009 and 2014. Their policies ravaged the economy and led to deep humanitarian crisis with harsh measures and wild taxes. Do you think that the story starts from 2015, that the people have no memory? You have delivered unregulated debt, unemployment at 27%, deposits down by 77 billion. You have delivered us a pariah country in Europe with solidarity and sissyties trying to compensate for your relentless policy.

SYRIZA faced your own crisis, the one you created in Greek society. You’re pointing the finger at us.

– We achieved what you did not imagine: That Greece could leave the commission. The country exited the memoranda, returned to the markets and with the debt settlement a clear corridor of low repayments for the next ten years, at least. No showcase, no words of the wind.

– What did you do today? You have wasted the talent given to you in the most unfair way, leading to bankruptcy. You won’t have time to complete it, but the damage is huge. You turned the majority of citizens into black memorial days. Salary and benefits are cut by accuracy. You say you’ve had a lot of trouble. Pandemic, economic crisis… And in the pandemic you recorded a negative record because you left the NHS, you hate everything public.

– The big question of the small and medium-sized businesses is where did the money go, they say we didn’t intervene. Since the pandemic, there has been a record number of direct assignments and closed tenders in the country. This gives an answer as to where the money went. Inequalities widened. The vast majority of households not only did not feel aid, but today they are unable to pursue it.

-The energy and inflationary crisis came that you could not predict, but you could not even estimate. At the TIF in 2021 you told us that for energy the charges would be only 3 euros. You predicted 0.8% inflation: This is your excellence and management ability. The year ends at 10%. Our fellow citizens find it difficult to make ends meet, they cannot heat their homes. You multiply the consequences of the crisis with your choices. You say it’s not your fault. Profiteering is a natural product of your own choices, it is not imported at all. Because Greece has the most expensive gasoline, the most expensive electricity, third most expensive in energy. How did you achieve these firsts? And those with the per capita income being the second lowest in Europe – only Bulgaria is below us.

-Who are you kidding when you play the chumps with the bankers. You exchanged, he says, pins. Governments legislate, they don’t exchange handouts, as happened in Spain.

-With your own responsibility and choice, the harshest redistribution of income is taking place in the country since the post-colonialism and the citizens understand it.

– Almost half of Greeks are in debt. During your days, private debt has increased by 38 billion euros. A new generation of red loans is being created. You do too little for the many. Core of your policy is the unconditional surrender of borrowers to crows and servicers. If you don’t know what it is, ask Mr. Patsis. Patsis phenomenon reflects the DNA of your policy. Your people took out loans to chase the world with thugs and debt collectors. It’s your policy. It is no coincidence that Patsis’ son was in the ND. It is no coincidence that Mr. Georgiadis yesterday ruled that there is no Patsis issue, that if he was not a member of parliament everything would be legal. Is that your perception? Profits Against Misery? The funds also announce auctions for small amounts. Are you saying that SYRIZA is to blame? When did it happen and they didn’t take it lightly? The problem was not the criticism of SYRIZA, but that there is no criticism of the Mitsotakis government.

-You appear as a supposed protector of the people from the banks, but you instituted immunity for the bank executives. Which boats? Are you kidding us? You organized the exclusion of small and medium enterprises from the Recovery Fund, which are suffocating. The middle class in detachment, the society steeped in fear and cold, and in fear of losing his home. You laugh and show the bad political morals you have. I heard them repeat the same lies.

-We will only promise that Justice will return. Only this, we will not make any other promises to the Greek people. (…) The hour of Justice is approaching. You are asking for second and third elections, if necessary, and you are talking about stability, when you are the number one destabilizing factor.
