Cretan carols and continental music flooded the office of the Regional Governor of Attica

With mantinades and Cretan carols by Vrakoforers Club of Crete and Epirus music and dances by its members of the Pan-continental Federation of Greece and other associations, the offices of the District were flooded with tunes and wishes for the district governor George Patoulis.

For his part, Mr. Patoulis pointed out that people who value culture and traditions have nothing to fear. “Throughout the years, both as mayor and as regional governor of Attica, I have supported every action aimed at preserving our cultural and historical heritage. With our specific actions, projects and initiatives, we highlight history and tradition and support the Epirotians who have offered so much to Greece. With their self-sacrifice and their significant donations, they laid the pillars for our nation to be resurrected and for cities like Athens to acquire emblematic buildings,” the regional governor pointed out.
