Faithless singer Maxi Jazz has died

“It is with great sadness that we announce that Maxi Jazz passed away last night,” the band’s announcement reads, among other things.

Maxi Jazz, the singer of the iconic dance group Faithless, has died at the age of 65.

In a Facebook post, the band wrote:

“It is with great pain that we announce that Maxi Jazz passed away last night. He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways.”

¨”He gave the right meaning and message to our music. He was a wonderful person, he gave of his time to everyone, he had a wisdom that was so deep but did not make him inaccessible to those around him. It was an honor and, of course, a real pleasure to we are working with him,” adds the statement, which also summarizes that he was a brilliant lyricist, DJ, Buddhist and had a wonderful stage presence.

In fact, his associates describe him as a car enthusiast, a good speaker, a handsome man and a moral genius.

Who are Faithless?

Faithless, famous British electronic music band, consisted of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo.

The group first became known with the songs “Insomnia”, “Salva Mea”, “God Is a DJ” and “We come 1”.

During their career (from 1995 to 2011), they recorded six music studio albums and have sold over 15 million records worldwide.

In February 2015 they reunited and in October 2015 released Faithless 2.0, a double remix album containing all their hits.

On October 23, 2020, they released “All Blessed”, which is their first studio album in 10 years and the first without their lead singer, Maxi Jazz.
