Alco poll: 41% are in favor of self-reliance

The percentage of citizens who want an independent government has been steadily increasing since September, according to the first part of the poll presented tonight by the Alco company on behalf of the Alpha television station.

Specifically, the percentage of citizens who wish to form an independent government now reaches 41% down from 37% in September while the percentage of those calling for a coalition government fell to 46% from 49% four months ago.

To the question whether Kyriakos Mitsotakis or Alexis Tsipras should be given a second chance, the superiority of the prime minister is great as 33% of the respondents favor him compared to 24% gathered by the official opposition leader.

Also, when asked how the situation would be today if SYRIZA was in power, 41% say it is worse, 27% say it is better, and only 23% say it is better.

Finally, in terms of accuracy, 38% say that the international crisis is responsible, 25% say the government and 32% say both.
