With 274 votes “in favor” it was decided to remove the immunity of Grevena MP Andreas Patsis for the offenses of continuing to submit an inaccurate declaration of assets as well as participation in a company based abroad (according to Special Law 313/2003). 274 deputies participated in the roll call vote.

Mr. Patsis did not want to take the floor. It is recalled that the opinion of the Ethics Committee to the Plenary was unanimously in favor of lifting the MP’s immunity.

On the other hand, with 272 votes “against” and 2 “for”, the prosecutor’s request to waive the immunity of ND MP Nikolaos Manolakos, regarding the lawsuit filed against him by his co-candidacy in the electoral district of A’ Piraeus with the accusations of moral complicity, was rejected. , issuing a false certificate, breach of duty and defamation.

The ND MP did not want to take a position on the case in the Plenary. The Ethics Committee had unanimously recommended to the Plenary the rejection of the MP’s immunity request.
