The government’s amendment confirms what the KKE has already denounced, namely that dangerous generalizations and conditions are introduced for the participation of parties in the elections – among other things with the general reference to convictions and crimes – under which the unacceptable can easily be “sheltered” theory of the two extremes which, in the name of totalitarianism, equates fascism with radical and communist ideology and action. After all, the criminalization of so-called “radicalism” is an official policy of the EU.

The same dangerous paths are opened by the SYRIZA amendment, which invokes the unacceptable “terrorist” and the relevant institutional framework, based on which in a number of EU countries communist parties, youth groups and symbols are already banned.
It turns out that fascism and its various offshoots are not faced with such dangerous provisions, when in fact those who propose them show in many cases tolerance towards the actions of such groups. Only the people and the youth, with their action and a stronger KKE, can really crush racism and fascism by fighting for the overthrow of the capitalist rot that gives birth and nurtures them.
