Nikos Androulakis, speaking late Friday night on Action 24, described the strategy of PASOK-Movement of Change when he will be called upon to take the third mandate for the formation of a government after the simple proportional elections. He emphasized that PASOK-KINAL has metal and its autonomous course is non-negotiable. He added emphatically that he does not keep an equal distance from ND and SYRIZA, setting the goal of “a government from the first Sunday, against the regime”, as he characteristically stated.

To this end, he asked for a strong percentage which will enable him to invite to a programmatic dialogue all the parties willing to contribute to brave progressive changes for the country’s course. “Mr. Tsipras and Mitsotakis have been judged, and these changes cannot be made with the same protagonists,” said Mr. Androulakis specifically.

He ruled out the participation of PASOK-Movement of Change in a “government of losers”, while strongly criticizing Alexis Tsipras and SYRIZA for leaving room for discussion to question the election result. “It is an unthinkable mistake to open such a discussion. Anyone who insults the institutions of the country is despicable”, emphasized Nikos Androulakis.

When asked about rumors and reports that he might be blackmailed about the decisions he will make, Nikos Androulakis talked about the smell of ’89 in his case, while he repeated that “Mr. Mitsotakis, his nephew and Megaro Maximos organized the despite his monitoring”.

With reference to the movements of former PASOK-KINAL officials to the ND ballots, he replied that these are practices of political transaction, while he argued that “the Prime Minister turned the Maximos Palace into a photo studio of political transcriptions”.

He also warned that Mr. Mitsotakis, with the benefits he announces, is financially derailing the country. He developed the proposals of PASOK-KINAL for the protection of weak borrowers, criticizing ND and SYRIZA that they cannot point a finger at PASOK-Movement of Change.

Nikos Androulakis expressed the hope that, after the earthquakes in Turkey and solidarity with the Turkish people, a new phase will open in the relations between the two countries.
