Special reference to three years did the prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakisin his interview on the Kalimera show with Giorgos Autias.
“Obviously we will look into the matter of three years, it is our obligation to see it, when unemployment falls below 10%, but we are not there yet,” he said characteristically, noting that the goal is “better wages, more jobs and more income. Growth means better wages.”
Speaking of her personal difference in pensionsthe Prime Minister said that “I recognized that over 1 million of our fellow citizens did not see a difference and until the personal difference is erased by the pension increases, and as long as there is fiscal space we will continue to support those pensioners who are affected by the personal difference and they don’t see increases in their pensions, primarily those with low pensions.”
Also, he said that “those with EKAS should not have to pay for medicine. So the beneficiaries of EKAS will not pay for medicines from now on.”
In response to a question about him minimum wage, noted: “On the issue of the minimum wage we exceeded the target we had set, although I know we are still low. What matters is that wages increase across the entire wage scale,” he said.
For taxation, Mr. Mitsotakis pointed out that “we fully implemented all our commitments for tax reductions. The pretension fee, of course, and we will examine it under the condition that at the same time we will have improved in tax compliance” he said, while noting that “the problem of the personal dispute was created by Mr. Tsipras”.
Mr. Mitsotakis announced doubling of the “My Home” program for low-interest housing loans for young people, as long as the beneficiaries are covered, while when asked about the housing problem, especially in the center of Athens, he announced that there will be intervention in the context of short-term rentals.
