On the State ballot of PASOK veteran international goalkeeper will be included Nikos Sarganis, who competed, among others, with the jerseys of Panathinaikos and Olympiakos. The announcement was made by Nikos Androulakis during his meeting with the Mayor of Piraeus, Yiannis Moralis.

As part of his visit to Piraeus, the president of PASOK-Change Movement then met with the Mayor of Piraeus. In the dialogue, which the two men shared in front of the cameras, Mr. Androulakis announced that the former international goalkeeper, the so-called “phantom” of Greek football, will be included in the PASOK-Movement for Change ballot.

Nikos Sarganis (January 13, 1954) excelled during the 80s playing for Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and other teams. Apart from his good performance under the posts, he specialized in taking penalties, scoring several goals. He was nicknamed “phantom”.

He was called up to the Greek national team for the first time in the fall of 1980. He competed with the Men’s national team until 1991 in a total of 58 matches.

After his retirement from active action, Nikos Sarganis pursued a career coach. He holds a diploma of football coach A’ and goalkeeper trainer in the training team of UEFA.
