The seven reforms that will change the face of EFKA in the coming years, making it a modern institution, completely friendly to pensioners and insured persons, were presented on Wednesday in the context of a special event by the Kostis Hatzidakis.

Speaking today to SKAI 100.3 the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs emphasized, among other things, that “the interconnection of EFKA with the ERGANI system, which passed the Audit Court and is signed, will deal with the issue of tax evasion in a radical way”.

Also, as the minister mentioned, “the integration of the 88 different databases of EFKA, into a single electronic database, which will be connected to the Center for the Collection of Insurance Debts (KEAO), is on track, allowing the even faster processing of insurance and pension cases”.

In addition, he noted that “the implementation of the digitization of the insurance life of all employees is starting, as, at the moment, the stamps have been digitized from 2002 onwards, while the older ones are still in paper form”.

Referring to the May 21 elections, he emphasized that “if some ND voters consider that it is not important to abstain or do not go to vote, then strange results may arise like those that Mr. Tsakalotos and Mr. Dragasakis are talking about” commented the minister and added that “afterwards the situation is not corrected and the mistake does not only concern themselves, but also the country”.
