The president of PASOK-Movement of Change, Nikos Androulakis, participated in the strike meeting of GSEE, ADEDY and the Labor Center of Athens for May Day.

Mr. Androulakis stated that “on May Day, a day of commemoration of the struggles and sacrifices of workers for their rights, but also just before the national elections, we have a duty to assess the true position of workers and the Greek economy”.

He pointed out that real wages, in 2022 alone, fell by 7.4% and the purchasing power of households is the third worst among the European Union states.

The president of PASOK-KINAL emphasized how “the collective agreements were undermined and the development of Mr. Mitsotakis is the development for jobs of 400 and 500 euros, which continue to make our young people prioritize their flight abroad”.

And he called on “on May 21st all Greek women and men to join our anxieties and make a decision of Change together to build a new hope of social justice, perspective for all Greeks, for all Greek women and especially for the younger generations” .
