Kyriakos Mitsotakis wants to “burn” the scenarios of cooperation between New Democracy and PASOK – Movement for Change, ahead of Wednesday’s debate. According to all measurements, ND is the first party, and with a significant percentage, and this is what Mr. Mitsotakis himself appreciates, and that is why he takes the initiative to end in the discussion on the formation of a government from the first ballot with the third party, that is, with Mr. Androulaki’s PASOK, as the “guts” will very likely come out, and perhaps some will try to “squeeze” the ND to form a government.

In this context, yesterday Thursday with his interview, the prime minister “burned” the possibility, putting forward two parameters, that is, the obsession of Mr. Androulakis, as he characterized it with his face, (“since he does not want to talk with me, we cannot sit at the same table, ask him why he does it”, he emphasizes), and highlighting the essential differences that exist with PASOK and which would lead to instability, such as article 16 on universities and evaluation in the public sector. Essentially, Mr. Mitsotakis takes the self-reliance narrative a step further, and burns every cooperation scenario from the first ballot.

SYRIZA: The goal is the undecided and the rally

In Koumoundourou, however, they are not convinced, as they see things completely differently. Specifically, they appreciate that there is a change of strategy on behalf of the ND, the non-negotiable autonomy of the second ballot no longer exists, and Kyriakos Mitsotakis is weighing all possibilities, on the one hand because he receives a different climate on the tours he goes to, on the other hand because there is no potential ally, namely PASOK. In the next 15 days until the elections, Alexis Tsipras will tour 12 cities, with the aim of “attracting” the undecided, as well as further rallying the party.

Program – “Gospel” of 12 points from PASOK

In the meantime, PASOK on Friday presented the 12 points of their pre-election program, the points programmatic priorityas Nikos Androulakis called it.

The 12-point program was characterized by the president of PASOK as “Evangelio” “for programmatic negotiation and the formation of a cooperation government”.

The president of PASOK-KINAL severely criticized the government actions of the ND, describing the reforms that PASOK-KINAL seeks and separated, in essence, his programmatic proposal from what SYRIZA proposes. As he said, PASOK will enter into the negotiation for the formation of a government from the first Sunday of the elections, as long as his party gets a strong double-digit percentage.
