Mr. Koutsoumbas called on the Greek people to put their own needs first, noting that these needs “do not fit into the system of profit and exploitation, which all serve them”.
All the messages from all over Greece say that on May 21our people can make a surprise, bringing the KKE much higher.
Our people can turn their backs on the extortionate dilemmas, they can discard the traps set for them, they can reach the ballot box based on their own needs”
The above was emphasized by the secretary general of the Central Committee of the KKE Dimitris Koutsoubas from Larissa, during his main pre-election speech.
Mr. Koutsoumbas called on the Greek people to put their own needs first, noting that these needs “do not fit into the system of profit and exploitation, which all serve them”.
At the same time, he spoke about the train accident in Tempe, which killed 57 people, and referred to the slogan “You count profits and losses, we count human lives.”
“This slogan not only shows the real culprits, but also the real reason for what we are living” said the g.g. of the KKE, accusing the ND government that “all these four years, it was measuring profits and losses for capital, business groups, that’s why it passed one unpopular bill after another».
At the same time, he also attacked SYRIZA and PASOK, accusing these parties of supporting the ND bills.
“Both SYRIZA and PASOK counted profits and losses, which is why they supported the ND bills by 50% and the latter by 70%” write down.
Among other things, he referred to the arguments of Mr. Mitsotakis regarding the growth rates of the country, saying that the prime minister is hiding that these growth rates “stepped on the broken labor rights and the draining of the workers”.
“But we measure the needs of the employees! That is why we are entering the fight for a real increase in wages, which can only be imposed by the labor movement with its struggle and with a much stronger KKEsaid Mr. Koutsoubas characteristically
On this wavelength, he spoke about the need to restore the collective labor agreements as a starting point for increasing the minimum wage above 850 euros and simultaneously restoring the three-year – demands of the labor unions.
“This practically means that an employee with a three-year contract will see his salary increase to 935 euros today and not in 2027 as promised by the ND” said Mr. Koutsoubas and added: “Our proposal for salary increases is linked to the rest of the proposals of the KKE for fixed daily working hours, 7 hours, 5 days, 35 hours and without unpaid overtime, with the reinstatement of Sunday-holiday. It is linked to the proposal for a wage adjustment clause based on inflation».
Finally, he also referred to the reinstatement of the 13th and 14th salary in the State, accusing ND and SYRIZA of “not talking”.
Among other things, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE referred to the public health system, accusing the ND of having left it unprotected, aiming at the commercialization of health. He also referred to the reality experienced by the Greek family, saying that Greek households are suffering from energy poverty. At the same time, he accused the ND of making fun of the Greek people with the market passes, while pointing his arrows at SYRIZA and PASOK saying that “they share the same strategy, that’s why they voted together with the ND for the permanence of energy and fuel taxes ».
“Profits and losses are counted by the parties of urban management, that is why their government programs, one would say that they have been written by the same hand“, he said.
Also, Mr. Koutsoubas invited the agricultural community of the region “to think that responsible for the continuous reduction of his income, is the policy implemented successively by all the last governments in our country” and emphasized that “ND – SYRIZA – PASOK together, support the one-sided orientation towards the export of agricultural products, which benefits the industrialists».
More comparatively, he accused the three parties that with their vote in the third memorandum the refund of the Special Consumption Tax on agricultural diesel was cut, while referring to the CAP, he said that with its current revision, it puts new obstacles in the survival of farmers.
Among other things, he referred to the war in Ukraine and the involvement of our country in the plans of NATO, calling on the Greek people to support the KKE and turn their backs on ND, SYRIZA and PASOK “which have turned Greece into a base of imperialist war ».
Finally, Mr. Koutsoubas said that the only anti-systemic vote is the vote for the KKE, noting that “our people, and especially the new generation, have a great opportunity this year: to count them and come out fewer! Let’s be counted and come out more!».
