Sweeping victory for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who emerged as the winner of the election with 49.3%. His opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, reached 45%.

In fact, as reported by the SKAI correspondent, Manolis Kostidis, Erdogan gave the “balcony speech” and sang: “To those who listen and those who don’t listen. To those who ask and to those who don’t. We love him very much, we love him, we love him. To those who hear and who do not. To those who ask and to those who don’t. We love him very much, we love him, we love him. We love you very much.”

Erdogan did not fail to mock him Kilicdaroglu about the videos in the kitchen, saying “others are in the kitchen, I’m on the victory balcony”.

“The result of strong love is here. This here is the meeting of lovers. We are experiencing the result of this whole marathon tonight with you. Some are in the kitchen, some others are on the balcony. I am grateful to the approximately 27 million fellow citizens who voted for me to be elected president. I thank the approximately 56 million fellow citizens who, regardless of their preference, participated in this celebration of democracy. In the elections, we kept a gap with our closest rival by 2.6 million votes!!!”.

For his part, Kilicdaroglu stated that the elections are not won on the balcony: “We will win and we will bring democracy” said the leader of the united opposition

“Erdogan, despite his slanders and insults, has not managed to get the result he wants. Let no one attempt any feat. Elections are not won on the balcony. Let the world know that we will definitely win and we will bring democracy to this country. Thank you”.
