From the moment the polls close on Sunday afternoon and the election result will be announced in the evening, it begins a multi-day journey until the formation of the National Delegation and possibly the announcement of new elections.

The simple proportionality, as it seems, will not give any party autonomy to have a government on Monday, so from May 22 the exploratory orders will be carried out, which will be given to the first three leaders in order of percentage. E.g:

  1. Kyriakos Mitsotakis
  2. Alexis Tsipras
  3. Nikos Androulakis

The command has the ability to keep and use it every leader up to three days, or he can deliver it earlier. A final attempt will be made by the President of the Republic once the nine days are up, or as long as the investigative orders last. PtD invites all political leaders to the presidential palace and makes an attempt to form a cooperation government. If he fails, he entrusts either the president of the Council of State, or the president of the Supreme Court or the president of the Audit Court, the formation of a government with the widest possible acceptance to conduct the elections.

The “sure” next step is Thursday June 1st:

  • Parliament is convened
  • Swearing in of Members of Parliament
  • Election of the presidium of the Parliament (probably on June 2nd), and if no government is formed, we go to
  • Dissolution of Parliament
  • Announcement of elections, probably for July 2
