The cabinet of the caretaker government is meeting again tomorrow with the aim of setting priorities and directions – The handover-acceptance ceremonies are in progress at the ministries
The government is a caretaker government, the prime minister noted at the first meeting of his cabinet John Sharmas, who announced a new meeting for tomorrow, in which priorities and directions will be set. we must be unbiased and objective and weigh our actions so that they are not seen as interfering for or against a faction in the pre-election period.
In particular, Mr. Sharmas said: I wish you all success in your work. I invited you to a short cabinet because I wanted now that you are taking over your ministry to give some guidelines before tomorrow’s cabinet where we will set the government policy which is not normal but for a few weeks as required by the Constitution and the Law. The first thing I wanted to say is that the government is ex officio and is presided over by one of the chief justices. THE judiciary itself is impartiality and independence. To define the Constitution thus means that he wants a politically and party-independent government. We must be neutral, impartial, objective and above all weigh our actions because it is easy to consider the act as not having a political character, so that it is not established that they are an intervention in favor of one or the other political faction in the ongoing pre-election period .
Now, the service ministers take up their duties in the ministries.
Earlier, the caretaker government was sworn in at the Presidential Palacebefore the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou by the bishop of Oreon Filotheos.
After their swearing-in, one by one the ministers signed to assume their duties and then went to Megaros Maximos, where the cabinet met for the first time under its new composition, led by Prime Minister Ioannis Sharma.

Most of the serving ministers were accompanied by members of their families, such as Mme Patrina Paparrigopoulosy who took over the Ministry of Labor and her children accompanied her to her swearing-in. “It is a government without a political sign” commented the official government representative Ilias Siakandaris.
