Tension in Turkey-Switzerland relations, due to a demonstration by PKK supporters who, during the march, hung an effigy of Tayyip Erdogan and then burned it.

As SKAI correspondent Manolis Kostidis reports from Istanbulthe Swiss ambassador was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, as the Turks note that in all this, there was no intervention by the Swiss police to stop the protesters.

As reported by TGRT HABER: “Supporters of the PKK terrorist organization in Switzerland specifically in Zurich targeted Turkey and its president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. They burned the Turkish flag as well as an effigy of Erdogan. They were holding banners that read “kill Erdogan”.

There was no reaction from the Swiss police. There was a harsh reaction of Ankara to the demonstration of supporters of the terrorist organization. The Swiss ambassador in Ankara was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an explanation and it was emphasized that this demonstration, which means an attack, is unacceptable. Explanations were requested for the reasons for the non-intervention of the police. It was emphasized that such demonstrations should not be allowed.”

Test of new “KEMANKS” air-to-ground missile from Turkey

Meanwhile, while Erdogan says he will tell Mitsotakis to stop the armaments, Turkey is preparing to test the new “KEMANKES” air-to-surface missile, continuing its own armaments program as usual.

Premiere for Turkey’s German technology submarine

At the same time, Ankara is “running” a mammoth program and building a total of 6 submarines. As the TV network of the newspaper Turkiye mentions in its report:

“Already the submarine Piri Reis is performing its duties in the Blue Homeland, soon the second submarine Hizir Reis will be ready and with its weapon systems it will not leave the enemy alone. Turkey has taken an important step in submarines. Our second submarine, Izir Reis, which is being built under the national submarine program, was launched a few days ago and this was announced by the Ministry of Defense through social networks. Before that though, it had done the same with the Piri Reis submarine and is still in service today.

“Turkey took the technology from Germany and started building the domestic version of the Type 214 submarines, in this context the program of building the Piri Reis, Hizir Reis, Murat Reis, Aydin Reis, Seydi Ali Reis Selman Reis submarines began. Piri Reis is already in service and the rest of the submarines will be ready in the coming years.”
