The categories of citizens over 60 years that are exempted from the fine in the context of compulsory vaccination were announced by the government spokesman, Giannis Oikonomou during the briefing of the political authors.

However, as he clarified, 3 categories of poles are exempt from the fine:

1. Those who have received approval for an exemption for health reasons by the special health committee

2. Those who have applied for home vaccination.

3. Those who have been vaccinated abroad in EU countries or in the 33 cooperating countries and have made the relevant statement on the anagnorisi platform. emvolio.gov.gr.

At the same time, Mr. Economou reminded that by January 31, all adults over 18 years of age who have completed 7 months of the two doses of the vaccine, must make the booster dose, as otherwise their vaccination certificate will expire. to be valid.

Regarding the opening of schools, he pointed out that a week later the government’s effort for their livelihood is justified, emphasizing that only 3 out of a total of 80,000 departments across the country have been closed due to coronavirus cases.
