“With a strong PASOK we are breaking the mechanism of fear of the worst and there will be, in the first phase, a strong, reliable, progressive opposition and in the second phase, a strong, progressive choice of government”, speaking to ANT1, the president of PASOK-Movement of Change, Nikos Androulakis.

“Social democratic and serious, which will strengthen the welfare statewill reduce inequalities, will work for a fair energy transition and a competitive economy” Mr. Androulakis described as a political goal.

“Such is the contempt of Mr. Mitsotakis towards the Greek people, that he officially promises 25% increases in wages in the private sector, when a week ago he submitted to the European Commission the stability program where a 13% increase in wages is mentioned. 13% says in the official document in Brussels and 25% in the advertising spot in Greece” noted Mr. Androulakis, insisting on his criticism of the actions of New Democracy.

“And, while all this is happening, Mr. Skylakakis came out the day before yesterday and declared: “We cannot put all our pre-election promises in the stability program”. So what do they do directly? What Karamanlis did in the period 2007-09. Leave the fiscal populism and the mockery of the Greek people,” he added.

The President of PASOK-Movement for Change criticized Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the degradation of the National Health System.

“He doesn’t care that the Greek people pay the second highest private health costs in all of Europe. “Based on European and OECD data, only Bulgaria surpasses us,” he stressed.

At the same time he spoke about client management of the state on behalf of the New Democracy. “What is the client state? The “blue” children, who were appointed to OSE and ERGOSE. Instead of doing their job, we saw that the remote control was not implemented – according to the experts’ opinion -, and 57 people lost their lives. Would these people live if there was remote control. The European Union gave 55 million euros and the remote control project was not implemented because of the client state, bribes and opacity. Why didn’t the conclusion of the Transparency Authority, which was delivered to Mr. Karamanlis from 2021, reach the Justice Department? Because they were “their children”” said Mr. Androulakis.

“I do not accept neither the adventures of SYRIZA nor the adventures of New Democracy” pointed out Mr. Androulakis when asked about the issue of Thrace and added: “We represent the unity and not the division of our people for a few votes or the winking at the consulate again for a few votes”.
