The head of the Central Committee of the KKE Dimitris Koutsoubas, met at the headquarters of the party’s Central Committee, with a large delegation of K.K. executives. Vietnam, led by Phan Dinh Trac, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the KKB.

The meeting was attended by the ambassador of the People’s Republic of Vietnam, Le Hong Truong and Giorgos Marinos, a member of the PG of the Central Committee of the KKE.

D. Koutsoumbas warmly welcomed the delegation of the KKB and referred, according to a relevant information, “to the long-standing friendly relations of the two parties, to the solidarity of the KKE in the heroic struggles of the Vietnamese people against imperialism for the independence and progress of the country, informed about the developments in Greece and the action of the party, about the recent electoral battles and the positive result achieved by the KKE”.

The member of the PG of the KKB “congratulated the KKE for its electoral rise and referred to the relations between the two parties and the two peoples, informed the KKE delegation about the decisions of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the economic progress of the country in recent years”.

The heads of the two delegations “exchanged views on the general developments and emphasized the importance of the development of the relations of the KKB and the KKE and their international cooperation, their contribution to the strengthening of the communist and labor movement, the international anti-imperialist organizations, the friendship and the struggle of peoples”.

The head of the delegation and a member of the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the KKB, invited the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE as well as a delegation of the party to Vietnam.
