“We have pending thousands of recruitments, which are in ASEP, to be processed”. This advance announcement was made today Wednesday by the Minister of State Makis Voridis, in an interview on the website ellada24.gr. Indicatively, he mentioned the upcoming ones 4,000 recruitment of nurses, while he wondered why there should not be synergies between the fire department and the armed forces, in the field of Health.

However, starting from the anniversary of the 2015 referendum, the Minister of State spoke for “performance of political justice», since, as he argued, “the man who behaved in such an adventurous manner in such big issues, Mr. Tsipras, has today retired from Greek political life”. And then “there is nothing good to remember from the government tenure of Mr. Tsipras, nothing good to remember from the way he carried out his duties. For SYRIZA in particular, he said that one way is to start making excuses, if they don’t look at the problem head on. He wondered, however, how it is that others are to blame and not his resigned president, when he himself had a decisive role.

For the “Spartiates” party, the Minister of State called it questionable whether Ilias Kasidiaris is a leader or a member of their administration.

For today’s topical issue, that of resignation of Andreas Loverdos from PASOK, M. Voridis clarified that “there is no relationship between Mr. Loverdos and New Democracy, it is not something that Andreas would do. Who is a great political figure”, with a significant contribution for many years. On the other hand, he continued, “he has fought with great consistency for his faction and his ideas. He has an undoubted positive contribution, he has helped the country in very critical moments”. Finally, describing A. Loverdos as an “integrity man” and as an “important politician”, M. Voridis closed the relevant report saying: “I am absolutely certain that he has taken his decision without any consultation with the ND”.
