“Our eight MPs will form a model parliamentary group – Our parliamentary group is diverse and multi-talented”
The president of “Pleusis Eleftheria”, Zoe Konstantopouloumade statements at the Parliament session about the government’s programmatic statements.
“I am here to be the voice of the citizens, their speech, their intervention (…) I am here to bring them to the fore, with their anxieties, their problems, to fight against every decision that is unfair to them” he said among but Mrs. Konstantopoulou.
While he added, among other things:
“Freedom Sailing managed to enter the Parliament without following any trodden path, without party leaders, without intrigues (…) The eight MPs will form a model parliamentary group, they are the hope and the light in the Greek Parliament. It consists of an equal number of women and men. Three people of culture are MPs of the Freedom of Navigation.
(…) Our parliamentary group is diverse and multitalented. It will be strengthened and completed with the ninth seat that was unfairly taken from us
(…) Freedom Sailing wants to underline that in a 2023 Republic the parliament must be upgraded and independent. I suspect that many would like a parliament sidelined and without authority (…) Parliament is the only one that can validly legislate based on the Constitution. We are not what we say, but what we do. We will act in the Parliament based on our principles, ideas and values”.
