The 87th TEF begins on Saturday, September 9 with the opening speech of the Prime Minister and President of the ND Kyriakos Mitsotakis
In front of her Thessaloniki International Fair, New Democracy, like every year, organizes a series of visits to all the prefectures of the Regions of Western, Central, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace as well as to all the municipalities of A’ and B’ Thessaloniki. The visits will be attended by Ministers, Deputy Ministers, MPs, as well as party officials.
It is noted that the 87th TIF starts on Saturday, September 9 with the opening speech of the Prime Minister and President of the ND Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Specifically, as regards the visit schedule, it is structured as follows:
On Monday, August 28, the Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas and the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy Alexandra Sdoukou visited the prefecture of Kozani, in the presence of the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia Giorgos Kasapidis, who participates in all the tours of his region.
On Monday, September 4:
– The Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of Interior Vivi Charalambogianni will be in the prefecture of Halkidiki.
– The Minister of Health Michalis Chrysochoidis, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Sofia Zaharakis and the Deputy Minister of Education, Religion and Sports with responsibility for Sports Yannis Vroutsis will visit A’ Thessaloniki.
On Tuesday, September 5:
– The Minister of the Interior Niki Kerameos, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy Nikos Tagaras and the Deputy Minister of Development Anna Mani-Papadimitriou will visit the prefecture of Florina.
On Wednesday, September 6:
– The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Haris Theocharis and the Deputy Minister of Education Zetta Makri will be in the prefecture of Grevena.
– The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Staikouras and the Deputy Minister of Immigration and Asylum Sofia Voultepsi will visit B’ Thessaloniki.
On Thursday, September 7:
– The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis and the Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food Dionysis Stamenitis will visit the prefecture of Pieria.
– The Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis and the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection Kostas Katsafados will be in the prefecture of Imathia.
– Klimakio with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Constantinos Kyranakis will visit the prefecture of Pella.
– The Minister of State Makis Voridis and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Nikos Tachiaos will visit the prefecture of Kastoria.
– The Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni and the Deputy Minister of Education Domna Michaelidou will be in A’ Thessaloniki.
– On the same day, the Minister of National Economy and Finance Kostis Hatzidakis, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Vassilis Spanakis, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Elena Rapti and the General Director of ND Giannis Smyrlis will visit the second Thessaloniki.
On Friday, September 8:
– The Minister of Immigration and Asylum Dimitris Kairides and the Deputy Minister of National Defense Yiannis Kefalogiannis will visit the prefecture of Serres.
– The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Kotsiras and the Deputy Minister of Health Dimitris Vartzopoulos will be in the prefecture of Kilkis.
– The Deputy Minister of Development Maximos Senetakis and the Deputy Minister of Culture Christos Dimas will visit the Second Thessaloniki.
The visits will continue after the first TIF weekend. Specifically, from September 11 to 21, echelon visits will take place in all prefectures of the Region of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, in the presence of the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christos Metios.
At the same time, New Democracy will hold 3 central events in Thessaloniki, while from Thursday, September 7th until Sunday, September 10th, the party’s booth will operate in Aristotelous Square with many actions and individual events of the ND Secretariats.
The first event took place yesterday, Thursday, August 31, at 19:00 in Lagadas (in the “Mygdonia” room), with
theme: “Primary Sector 2023-2027: Challenges and Prospects”.
The keynote speakers of the event were the Minister of Rural Development and Food Lefteris Avgenakis, ELGA President Andreas Lykourentzos and ELGA DIMITRA President Serko Haroutounian.
Greetings were addressed by the President of the Steering Committee of the ND N. Thessaloniki Zisis Ioakeimovich and the President of DEEP II Thessaloniki Thomas Vranos, while the coordinator of the event was the Secretary of Agricultural Organizations ND Andreas Karasarinis.
The event was co-organized by the Diikousa ND Thessaloniki, DEEP B’ Thessaloniki and the Secretariat of Agricultural Organizations ND.
The next two events are as follows:
– Monday September 4, 19:00 in Kalamaria at the Municipal Theater of Odos Chilis.
Topic: “Public Health and Health Map of Thessaloniki”.
The keynote speakers will be the Minister of Health Michalis Chrysochoidis and Nikos Papaioannou.
Greetings will be addressed by Zisis Ioakeimovich and the President of DEEP A’ Thessaloniki Thodoris Mitrakas, while the event is co-organized by the Director of ND Thessaloniki and DEEP A’ Thessaloniki.
– Wednesday September 6, 19:00 at the Thessaloniki City Hall.
Topic: “The modernization of the infrastructure of local societies with the participation of young people in Self-Government as a vehicle”.
The keynote speakers will be the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Christos Staikouras, the Mayor of Thessaloniki Konstantinos Zervas, the President of ONNED Orfeas Georgiou, the Organizing Secretary of Self-Government & Crisis Management Menios Koromilas, while the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the Deputy Minister of the Interior responsible for of Macedonia-Thrace Stathis Konstantinidis, the General Director of ND Yannis Smyrlis and the Member of Parliament for the South Sector of Athens and Secretary of Local Self-Government ND Dionysis Hatzidakis.
The event is co-organized by ONNED and the Secretariat of Local Self-Government of ND.
