Dendias from London: We promote Greece’s candidacy to the United Nations Security Council

This is a historic agreement signed after its release United Kingdom from the EU and aims to strengthen the ties between the two countries, covering a wide range of issues such as defense, trade, tourism, maritime affairs and in general what is of interest to the relations between the two countries.

According to diplomatic sources, among the issues on their agenda are developments in Ukraine, the Western Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean. The Cyprus issue will also be discussed, as well as issues concerning the two countries focusing on the implementation of the “Memorandum of Understanding on the Strategic Bilateral Framework” signed by Greece and the United Kingdom in October.

Finally, he reiterated that “the United Kingdom remains a major global player. “Every attempt to contact the British government is of great importance to us, the Greek government, the Mitsotakis government,” he said.
