The Cultural Advisor of the Pan-Arkadian Federation, Georgia Diamantopoulou, mentioned “Tsakonian” by noting that “the Tsakonian dialect comes from antiquity and has elements of the Doric dialect. It is spoken on the eastern side of Parnonas and in the villages of the wider area of Leonidio, it is passed down from generation to generation, it is registered in the ark of the collective memory and together with the Tsakonian dance are a heritage and an element of the place’s identity”
Dimitris Koutsoumbas, welcoming the representatives of the Federation and wishing them his best in the Tsakonian dialect, said:
“Good morning everyone! Thank you all! Kaur, you looked! Well done, many thanks. I tried the Tsakonian dialect too, I hope I succeeded.
Today is a period, and such days as it is, when our people, as we all know, suffer from the great precision, from the poverty, from the low incomes, from the great taxation, from the direct and indirect taxes, from the auctions of first homes and commercial housing, from the degradation and commercialization of our children’s health and education, from our country’s participation in NATO plans and wars in the region.
For all this, the KKE is here, present, making a great effort to open the path, another path for another way out, all together, the Greek people all together, united, so that all these tragic issues, tragic issues become a thing of the past for our country and for the whole world.
Happy birthday to you, Merry Christmas, happy holidays, good strength and health to everyone!”
