“No matter how many insults and characterizations the government spokesman hurls, the truth is persistent and cannot be hidden”
Reply to government representative Pavlos Marinaki who denied that in 2019 he had been proposed to Stefanos Kasselakis to join the first government of the New Democracy they gave circles of SYRIZA on Friday night. The former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonis Diamataris also stated that “it is absolutely untrue that I proposed to Stefanos Kasselakis on behalf of Mitsotakis to become a minister”.
“No matter how many insults and characterizations the government representative hurls, the truth is persistent and cannot be hidden,” they report to Koumoundourou.
Because the questions remain unanswered:
- Will they finally answer us whether or not Mr. Mitsotakis had personally asked for Mr. Kasselakis’ help with his family issues, repeatedly expressing his appreciation to him?
- Was Mr. Marinakis finally informed which was the Ministry proposed to Mr. Kasselakis before the 2019 elections?
It is interesting that the government representative responds to a journalistic question that “there has never been a scheduled meeting between Mr. Mitsotakis and Stefanos Kasselakis”. Does he stick to it?
It is obvious that the morning line about “fake news” has gone viral, just as it is clear that Mr. Mitsotakis is making Mr. Marinakis do a very dirty job, on the eve of Epiphany.”
