He intervenes in the issue of postal voting by posting it on social media, the president of SYRIZA-PS, Stefanos Kasselakis.

Addressing the citizens, he notes: “There is a big debate going on here in the Parliament these days, and we believe that you have the right to know directly the positions of SYRIZA-PS”.

He then develops the positions of SYRIZA-PS, which as he says “come from our fixed principle. We want to make it easier for Greeks to participate in every celebration of democracy. To participate in every electoral contest, wherever the Greeks are, inside and outside Greece. SYRIZA-PS throughout this process was absolutely consistent.”

He attacks the government saying: “The government proved to be neither consistent nor competent. We submitted documented proposals and especially the great innovation of the electronic electoral roll, so that everyone can vote in any part of Greece. We also tabled the amendment so that the constituencies of the emigrants would exist. The government chose not to discuss these reforms. An amendment was filed by Ms. Kerameos, with procedures outside of any parliamentary ethics, transferring the discussion to the voting process for the parliamentary elections. There are two distinctions. The first is against expatriates, because if you are an expatriate or expatriate, you cannot go down to your own region. The second distinction concerns Greek women and men living in Greece. Because it is not possible to use electronic lists so that every Greek in Greece can vote in the European elections from wherever they are, but not apply it to the parliamentary elections.
