A meeting was recently convened at the Maximos Palace, under the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on the occasion of the latest developments in Ukraine.
At the meeting, according to information, the prime minister asked to be informed about all possible scenarios, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the supply of the country with natural gas.
As mentioned in the meeting, the worst case scenario would be to interrupt the supply of the country. If this gap occurs, it will have to be filled by LNG loads, via Revythousa and by the Azeri gas that reaches Greece via the TAP pipeline.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Environment and Energy Costas Skrekas, the Ministers of State George Gerapetritis and Akis Skertsos, the Deputy Minister under the Prime Minister and Government Spokesman Giannis Oikonomou, the Deputy Government Spokesman A National Security Thanos Dokos, the President and CEO of PPC George Stassis, the CEO of DEPA Konstantinos Xifaras, the President of RAE Thanos Dagoumas and the Professor of Energy Economics and Business Research of NTUA.
