The crews of the Attica Region have engaged in a non-stop road race to remove illegal posters on the central arteries of Athens. As reported by the Attica Region, the most recent example was those advertising the 4th Congress of SYRIZA-PS.

As the Region emphasizes, after the recent removal of the posters, members of Koumoundourou re-installed them in breach of applicable law, with the people of the District getting to work again, in order to bring them down. In the last two twenty-four hours, some of the most central streets – Sygrou, Piraeus, Athens Avenue, Gr. Lambraki and P. Ralli have come down more than 200 posters of SYRIZA-PS.

As emphasized, “Nikos Hardalias is determined to implement up to antenna the legislation and put a definitive end to illegal poster-hanging – a practice which, in addition to polluting the environment, is a proven danger to drivers as well. The Regional Governor did not spare even the President of LAOS and member of the Regional Council of Attica Filippos Kambouris, who filled the streets with 406 posters in early February. Not only were they all undone in lightning time, but the “bell” rang heavily for the party, as a fine of 30,000 euros was imposed, the highest provided by law. Equally bitter will be the “sad” that Koumoundourou is expected to receive within the next period, since even in this case hundreds of posters were put up, and even in two installments”.

“Exceptions are not made for anyone and with no justification” the colleagues of the Regional Governor of Attica explain, adding that “Nikos Hardalias never turns a blind eye to everything related to the implementation of the law and the issues of everyday life of the citizens”.
