Attack by about 30 people announced from the floor of the Parliament that shortly after 09.00 in the evening the Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis.

As he characteristically said, a little earlier: “I was recently informed by my family that about 30 people in front of our house and left a series of leaflets both outside and inside the house and they chose to do this not at the ministry or at my office but at home and I would say that this reflects who are devotees of political violence and enemies of democracy. It is a message, we are not afraid of anything, I am not afraid of anything, and it is self-evident that I call on you to condemn it.”

“We are not afraid of anything, I am not afraid of anything, I am not being blackmailed, we are not being blackmailedhe added, and ended by asking for the condemnation of the other parties for this action.

“Explicit and unequivocal condemnation. Alas if the political confrontation extends to the level of violence,” said Mr Dimitris Manzos from PASOK, with Theofilos Xanthopoulos let him say in turn, “we express your full explicit and unequivocal condemnation. The action was condemned, through the parliamentary representatives, by the other parties as well.
