On the occasion of Sunday’s press reports, government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis issued a statement in which he states that relentless questions are being raised that demand answers both from Stefanos Kasselakis regarding his business activities and from Alexis Tsipras regarding the handling of the Novartis case.

In his announcement, Mr. Marinakis states:

“Today’s report in the newspaper ‘Proto Thema’ presents the business activities of Mr. Kasselakis abroad and the companies with the ‘lobster boats’ as he called them in an interview.

On the other hand, in the newspaper ‘Apogeumatini’, the former Minister of Justice of the SYRIZA Government, Mr. Kontonis, following Kouloglou’s admission of ‘political decisions’ in the Novartis case, after the ‘para-ministries’, reveals an entire ‘para-system’ in the case, set up by Mr. Tsipras and his staff.

From the publications, relentless questions are raised that demand answers from Mr. Kasselakis and Mr. Tsipras.

How many companies does the leader of SYRIZA have abroad?

What exactly are the professional activities of Mr. Kasselakis who keeps vaguely assuring us that we know everything about him, but actually it turns out that we still have a lot to learn? It would be good for Greek citizens to learn about them “directly” and not from newspaper reports.

As for Mr. Tsipras, we should finally know how many more “unfortunate” moments he had? What kind and how many “para-systems” were operating in his day?

The former and current president of SYRIZA can no longer hide behind their finger. They must give concrete answers, instead of being the protagonists in vile and slanderous attacks against Greece, appearing as supposed defenders of the rule of law.”
