Regarding the phenomena of violence in schools and in society, the Prime Minister first mentioned about Tempi on Tuesday morning on SKAI and on the show “Mismatches”, in an interview cfor all the burning issues of the day.

For the phenomena of violence

Kyriakos Mitsotakis initially referred to the phenomena of violence in schools and argued that responsibility must be assigned after what happened in Thessaloniki a few days ago.
“The suspects will be tried” he argued and emphasized that there is now also a mobilization of society.

Regarding bowling in schools, Mr. Mitsotakis argued that the platform for bowling is being activated while at the same time there is reinforcement with psychologists in schools. The presence of the police has been intensified, mainly in the neighborhoods. There is a noticeable improvement but this does not correspond to the feeling of the citizen.

“There is progress in terms of the Greek mafia,” he asserted.

Regarding fan violence, the prime minister emphasized that the interventions made so far in football seem to have produced positive results. “The image of the stadiums seems that there is no tension anymore,” he said. In basketball, he argued that the image is better.

For Tempi

“Justice will have the final say. We did the best job but I think it is reasonable for the opposition to blame the government. Justice will answer all questions. She asked for a second expert,” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

He said about the collection: “What to cover up. I won’t forget the images, the smells. I knew the ground had to be stabilized, the cranes had to go and find piles of debris. I’m sorry and angry for those who talk about cheating.”

“What happened to those wagons? Were they seduced? The first expert didn’t say any of that.”

“I want to know the truth first,” he emphasized. Asked if he is currently the railway he said “It is as much as it can carrying the chronic pathogens. The Contract 717 contract was completed until Daniel struck.’

“However, we must also look at the human factor,” he said.

Actually

Asked about the accuracy that “plagues” society, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said:

“The government responds with wage increases. The average salary should reach 1500 euros and the minimum 950 in 2027. We will achieve the goal. Already in 2019, wages have increased a little more than 20%. Unemployment is falling. Businesses have to pay more to reach workers.”

“There was a reason the prices went up. Because the cost factors increased. But there’s no reason for them to exist when cost factors are falling.”
“We also increased the maternity allowance,” he argued.

The increase in the minimum wage that will be announced in mid-March and will be set from April 1st will be over 800 euros, the Prime Minister emphasized.

Regarding the high rents he argued that rents have increased because the economy is doing better and the demand for houses is greater than the supply. For this reason, we made programs such as “My Home”, the “Renovate – Rent” programs, while at the same time we are moving forward with additional programs.

At the same time, the prime minister claimed that no Easter allowance will be given. “We have a difficult budget to implement,” he stressed.

For health

“Our goal is within the four years to say that something has changed in the NSS. Better quality with better health services and without the discrimination that exists today” said the Prime Minister.

“Afternoon surgeries start today in Papageorgiou and at ACHEPA in Thessaloniki” he emphasized and added that “afternoon surgeries can only be done on the condition that they do not replace the morning ones”.

“We will allocate an amount from the Recovery Fund so that mainly for our vulnerable citizens it will be free. People who currently have no financial means will have access” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

“Significant resources are also directed to the improvement of infrastructure and mainly to emergencies. Emphasis on personal physician and primary care. And in matters of public health, prevention.”

“The pandemic has left us with more ICUs and medical staff and significant resources from the Recovery Fund,” the prime minister underlined.
