Tips for the party’s positions in the main directions of its policy, such as the vote against the bill that is being discussed today in the plenary for the strengthening of the lawyer’s material, the Hellenic Solution MP leftPavlos Sarakis.

Speaking on the parliament channel, Mr. Sarakis appeared annoyed by the president’s decision to replace him with the MP, St. Fotopoulos, from the position of rapporteur: “Until now, I am officially a rapporteur. The bill supports lawyers who have been financially affected since 2010. It adopts part of the demands of the legal profession that restore their status as functionaries. “There is consensus from the parties. As the rapporteur of the Greek Solution, I voted in favor but I am learning that I will be replaced. Obviously, Mr. Velopoulos disagrees with my stance in the trial, which was positive and I had discussed it (…) Of course he knew my intentions and I am surprised,” the Hellenic Solution MP pointed out, leaving clear points for the party president.

The MP also distanced himself from the – reportedly – withdrawal of the Hellenic Solution from the foreign policy council, saying that he does not agree with protest positions: “”The council was formed after years and we responded, I do not know if Mr. Velopoulos made a decision to leave and if he did, it is not an institutional stance but a protest and I do not agree with protest policies. I want to be an institutional party where we can intervene.”

Mr. Sarakis pointed out that the party’s threshold in the upcoming European elections is 10% and called any other result a “failure”.
