Ready to give clear answers for Tempi, but also for any issue raised by the opposition, the government declares during the three-day discussion of the motion of no confidence in the Parliament. On their part, SYRIZA and PASOK will move in very high tones, raising the issue of the rule of law and the crisis of the institutions in Greece.

The motion of no confidence against the government with 83 signatures the president of PASOK-KINAL officially testified shortly before 5 pm Nikos Androulakis on behalf of PASOK, SYRIZA, New Left and Plefsis Eleftherias. Nikos Androulakis spoke from the floor of the Parliament to undertake a critical institutional initiative.

This is the final text of the motion of no confidence

“Answers to everything – No more grave digging”

To the government they want to give answers for all the issues. This is a tragic accident and the government never hid in this discussion, the prime minister’s associates noted. They are talking about a serious and very important debate which will take place these three days in the Parliament, and in no case, as they emphasized, is it not suitable for grave digging as the opposition parties are attempting. “So far” was the characteristic phrase of Mr. Mitsotakis’ associates, noting that Mr. Androulakis essentially identified himself with a specific publishing group, also serving financial interests with this attitude, because he has attacked the government many times on many issues , and he never resorted to such a move as the one he made after a publication noted by the prime minister’s associates was answered point by point from the first moment by the government. In fact, they noted that “this discussion is an opportunity for everyone to understand what a motion of no confidence means for the government and the country, where we are and where they want to take us”.

The former Minister of Infrastructure Costas Karamanlis will attend the Plenary Session of the Parliament tomorrow, Wednesday, to give answers about Tempi.

“Defending Mitsotakis”

It is noted that not all SYRIZA MPs saw a motion of no confidence in the government from the beginning with a positive eye, however the cooperation with PASOK was considered a one-way street, as the official opposition could not be isolated in an issue that it raised. In SYRIZA, they tried to come forward, Mr. Kasselakis asked for the resignation of the prime minister, and they believe that there will be benefits. “Mr. Mitsotakis will come to the Parliament and the majority will be on the defensive”, they noted in Koumoundourou, and added that they also added a stricter touch to the proposal. In any case, they will talk about evidence of an extreme violation of the rule of law in our country.

“Androulakis Initiative”

The motion of no confidence was an initiative of PASOK and Nikos Androulakis stressed to Charilaou Trikoupis. They are satisfied that all progressive forces managed to rally against the government. As they typically said, apart from the issue of the crisis of the institutions, the motion of no confidence also touches on other issues, such as the economy, filthy lucre and the welfare state. Earlier, a mini-meeting of Mr. Androulakis was held with MPs to draw up the strategy in the national delegation, and they will see, and they were preparing answers and criticizing the government in very high tones. As far as the identification of the president with financial interests is concerned, they spoke of non-existent miseries.

Long hours and late-night meetings

It is noted that all the MPs have requested to participate in the discussion of the motion of no confidence against the government.

The President of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, announcing the organization of the debate, said that today, the first day of debate on the proposal, there will be positions of deputies until 3 midnight, as all the deputies of the body have expressed interest in registering and taking the floor.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the meeting will start at 9 am and will continue without interruption until the early hours of the morning. On Thursday the debate will be repeated from 9 in the morning with the aim of the roll-call electronic voting to start around 8 to 9 in the evening.

The three-day debate of the motion of no confidence in the Plenary will conclude with the positions of the political leaders (in reverse order of the parliamentary strength of the parties) and will conclude with the speech of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
