“However, we also have a special issue, that of the protection of the Greek minority,” said the Foreign Minister, pointing out that this is a numerous minority of 150,000 people. “So again, as yesterday, I will raise the issue in the light of new developments,” noted N. Dendias.
The Foreign Minister also met with the Indian Foreign Minister on the sidelines of the EU Ministerial Meeting with the Indian and Pacific countries. “My meetings with Dr. Jaisankar are always very important. We consider that the India is a highly emerging power which will play an important role at the global level “, the Greek minister pointed out, also noting that India is a country that shares the basic principles of Greek foreign policy in terms of International Law and the Law of the Sea. “In view of my visit to India in March, it was particularly useful that we met,” concluded Nikos Dendias.
