Despite the encouraging messages they receive from the opinion polls, as well as the climate received by the prime minister and all the blue scales that have been thrown into the battle of the European elections, what is certain is that there is no complacency and no complacency is allowed

Less than three weeks before the opening of the ballot box for the European elections and Piraeus and Maximos are “recruiting” all their pre-election papers to achieve the goal set by the prime minister himself, aiming for at least the percentage obtained by the ruling party in the previous European elections, 33%.
A percentage also, that the optimistic messages received by the Megaros Maximos from the opinion polls, even allow it to be revised upwards. This is how the report of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from Florina, is perceived, where he set the goal of electing nine ND MEPs from the upcoming European elections. A pursuit that translates into an increase in the threshold of the European elections close to 35%, as in 2019 the ND had elected eight MEPs.
The optimistic messages also include the rally rates shown by the ND in the latest measurements, as the time for the European elections approaches, reflecting a limitation in the leakages to its right. A development that is credited in its main part to the prime minister’s clear and strict attitude towards the challenges of the leadership of North Macedonia and the breach of the Prespa Agreement.
Despite the encouraging messages they receive from the opinion polls and the climate received by the prime minister and all the blue scales that have been thrown into the battle of the European elections, what is certain is that there is no complacency and no complacency is allowed, because as he has told the executives many times of Kyriakos Mitsotakis the ballot box on Sunday June 9th will be empty and until the last moment the “instruction” in all directions concerns maximum mobilization, which will communicate the government’s messages and policies from one end of Greece to the other .
The central message remains one: stability in a Europe, where the only political force that has the ability to negotiate the next day for the benefit of the country and for the major changes that the country needs, is the faction that joined Greece in Europe, the SW.
From the first moment of the start of the current pre-election period until the last moment, all blue executives, from the top ones who draw up the central policies, to the local executives throughout Greece have got to work. With speeches, visits, tours, they come next to the citizens, talk with them, listen to their problems and requests so that it is then transferred centrally and what is needed is immediately launched.
At the same time, all other communication “weapons” are thrown into the pre-election battle, with ND’s spots increasing as the European elections approach. “Strength in Europe also means strength in Greece” declares through the new TV spot the ruling party, in which the central figure and protagonist is once again the prime minister himself. An advertisement that seeks to demonstrate the criticality of the June 9 ballot, as well as the reasons why the strong ND identifies with the power of the Greeks and the benefits they can get from the EU.
Also central are the achievements of the ND government during its five-year rule, particularly in major and national issues, reflecting the presence of the prime minister, in the last 5 years, at the European Councils in Brussels and his contacts with his counterparts, combining these images with the F-16s and the Rafale that our country acquired, the fence on the Evros and the on-site autopsy that the heads of the European institutions had done in the Acritic region.
The aim is to highlight the now resounding voice of Greece in Brussels and its presence as an equal partner, with a strong voice and proposals, which are heard and contribute to the common European policy. All these data, government officials note, should not be ignored and put at risk, through abstention or loose voting, the stable course of the country, putting it on new adventures with an unknown outcome. “Ten years ago our position in Europe was in danger. Today everything has changed. The Greek border became in practice the border of the EU, with hard work we secured more resources for our country”, says the Prime Minister.
In the afternoon, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Argos, after previously continuing the barrage of interviews of the last few days, addressing every social and age group and choosing sport24.gr for today.
