His resignation from the “Hellenic Solution” party, of which he was for years a key party member in the prefecture of Evros, was submitted in a letter to the president, Kyriakos Velopoulos, the candidate for parliament, second in votes in the prefecture of Evros in the national elections of 2023 and Head of Maritime and Island Policy, Margaritis Kirkos.

Mr. Kirkos, who gathered 2,796 votes against the 3,068 of the elected Paraschos Papadakis and his continuous struggle for many years as well as the votes he got played a decisive role so that the “Hellenic Solution” won in the prefecture of Evros its highest percentage in Greece with 8.83% and to elect a member of parliament, turns against both President Kyriakos Velopoulos and his associates with heavy expressions and accusations.

President of the “HELENIC SOLUTION” party

I submit to you my resignation as a member of the party and of course from the position of Head of Department for Shipping and Insular Policy.

I chose this moment because all the previous months, after the national elections of 2023 and especially as we approach the upcoming European elections, I have been receiving calls and messages in many ways every day, from hundreds of supporters and voters of the party in Evros. Also, from executives and candidate MEPs of the “Hellenic Solution”, who first ask for my opinions and advice on what they should do in the European elections, and the second for my help and support in their electoral campaign.

Mainly, the thousands of simple supporters and voters, both mine personally and the party’s, are asking for answers to a series of relentless questions, concerning YOUR BEHAVIOR PERSONALLY, but also of your close associates in the leadership of the party, against my face.

All of them, became voters and supporters of the “Hellenic Solution”, seeing in the previous 5 years, almost every day by their side, me “plowing” since 2019 when I more actively mobilized in the party’s struggle, the entire prefecture of Evros. Both in the 2019 elections, when I was a candidate, and afterwards, I gave everything, in order for the “Hellenic Solution” to reach last year’s national elections, to record in the prefecture of Evros the largest electoral percentage in all of Greece.

Sparing no time, personal daily effort and my own money, at the expense of my professional, business and family life, I GAVE EVERYTHING to this fight. Finally, I found that with a specific and ORGANIZED PLAN, by you, the President of the party and your close and completely controlled associates, the ELECTION of the current MP of the party, Paraschos Papadakis, was MANAGED.

You sold shamelessly, ruthlessly, unfairly and in a pitiful way, the titanic effort I made all these years believing that you constituted something different in the political life of the place. Closing my ears to those who pointed out to me that “Velopoulos will sell you because he only cares about his party and the clique that surrounds him”, but also my eyes on some points and monsters that were happening.

Of course, I understood the METHODOLOGY you did, together with your close staff in the prefecture of Evros, in order to favor the opportunistic, selfish candidacy of… yesterday’s party member Paraschos Papadakis. First with the inexplicable and with funny excuses the exclusion from the ballot of Ilias Iliakopoulos and then with the two “planter” phantom candidacies, Mrs. Gianarrakos from Piraeus and Mr. Skarlatos from Thessaloniki. Two co-candidates, whom neither we have ever seen in the prefecture and did not set foot on them, even when you, the President of the party, visited us.

Then I understood the strategy that was made and the targeting, but it was the time of struggle and battle and I could not betray the trust of all these people from every part of Evros, who through my own daily presence beside them, believed that the “Greek Solution” is something different. These pure supporters and voters honored me and the party by giving me first place in almost all the districts of the county. I ended up in second place, because both the pure supporters and voters of the party, as well as myself, counted, without the… METHODS of the President and his associates.

Because in the area of ​​Alexandroupoli, there was an ORGY of METHODOLOGICAL bonusing of the current MP Mr. Papadakis, with “marked” ballots which all had the second cross in the GHOST CANDIDATE Mr. Giannarakos. Which no one saw, but she got more votes in this particular region and my hometown, than both me and the long-time competitor and supporter, like me, of the “Hellenic Solution” Yiannis Dermentzoglou. With the also unholy “alliance” of a part of the deep PASOK from its worst times, people that the vast majority of the people of the region detest.

It is characteristic, that in the repeat elections, because the President and his associates felt GUILTY for the shameless method in favor of the opportunistic co-candidate who, months before the elections, were pampered and photographed offering gifts to the pardoned Giorgos Trakas to be his candidate, when they called me and asked my help, they agreed with what I complained to them. While they had the possibility to change the list of names, as Kyriakos Velopoulos did and “disguised” the first in “crosses” Niki Agiostratido in the South sector of Athens and in the A’ Thessaloniki with Christos Amanatidis since he was replaced by Charalambos Panagiotidis, in Evro you did nothing, even though you accepted my complaints.

Both you, President, and Vice-President Dimitra Kritikou, ignored the huge 5-year struggle, with personal financial sacrifices to support the party and the President personally, and kept the current MP at the top of the list. Confirming once again the methodical effort you had laid out.

All this time that has intervened until now, I found, distanced from the operation of the party, that the President Kyriakos Velopoulos himself chose the… bonus of the deputy Paraschos Papadakis, because he also operates opportunistically, with selfish motives and is only interested in the his political survival, as well as that of the close group that surrounds him in the party. It does not become President to be a “Christembora” and at the same time to attack the Archbishop and the Church, because they did not fully identify with you. It is not possible to pretend to be a “turcophagus” and propose the purchase of missiles from Turkey or a state subsidy to transport visitors from Thrace to Turkey for shopping, which means economic bleeding of the Evros.

It is not possible at the local level, that… our MP stirs up our fellow citizens with his posts during the catastrophic fire in Evros and when some are arrested, like the three from Alexandroupolis, to “let them go” and not defend them with physical your presence, when you are also a lawyer.

It is not possible for the fishermen and hunters with the huts in the Evros Delta to vote for us and also to “empty” them after your election as a member of parliament and not have done anything substantial to solve the serious problem of the legality of the huts, which we had done our election “flag”.

It is not possible for our President to denounce nepotism and at the same time to be clearly methodical in the European elections, the re-election of the current MEP Emmanuel Fragou, because he is the son-in-law of the Vice-President of the party, Mr. Kritikou. .Papadakis, when other candidates call me expressing complaints that they came alone and asking for my help.

The climax of my disgust was the action of the Vice President of the party, Dimitras Kritikou, who, during my strong protests about all of this, in our last communication on her own initiative, attempted to… caress these things and calm me down for her at her expense scheming and blatant injustice, he reached the disgusting point of…, he wishes that the current member of parliament of Evros would be run over by a car, so that I could take his place.

This was the last straw and because I don’t care whatever the result of the European elections is for the “Greek Solution”, since there are no limits to hypocrisy, opportunism and no moral or other barrier to the President and his company in order to to achieve their goal by MOCKING the world, I have decided to submit my resignation. So that I don’t have even the slightest formal relationship with all this cesspool, the dirty background, the selfish schemes and the exploitation of everything, in front of your politics, but also your personal survival, which make me disgusted and nauseous.

I gave a holy fight for faith and country. I fought patriotically and honestly for the sacred and the faithful. You, President, fought to serve your own selfish interests. Because it turns out that you have neither the sacred nor the holy, regardless of whether you “fable” the world with statements.

I now feel with all my soul, that you are a PRESIDENT… a great theatrical, a political fraud, a patriot.
