“Sunday is a very critical day. It is another thing for New Democracy to continue citing the 41% for accuracy, Tempi, wiretapping, emails. Referring to the refusal of the EYP to implement the decision of the Council of State, the President of PASOK-Change Movement commented:This is the Greece of 2024 with Kyriakos Mitsotakis as Prime Minister. It is Greece where the secret services refuse to implement decisions of the country’s highest court. These practices take us decades back and away from the hard core of respect for human rights and the separation of powers of all the central European states, of all the advanced democracies of Europe. Mr. Mitsotakis has a huge responsibility, he must apologize and he must answer as a political leader. I expect your colleagues to ask him in the next few hours. As the political head of the EYP, he agrees with the governing state not to apply the decisions of the country’s supreme court. This is such a simple question, I expect to be asked by your colleagues. Obviously the EYP is afraid that as soon as they give me an official paper I will continue my legal battle and they will get what they deserve from the Greek and European justice system. For this, to put it simply, they sell madness».

Regarding the immoral attacks of Mr. Kasselakis, Mr. Androulakis meaningfully noted: “This is what Mitsotakis’ former die-hard fan tells me. If the people get to read the articles that Mr. Kasselakis has written in favor of Mr. Mitsotakis, I don’t think they will consider him a reliable official opposition leader. I don’t know where he gets this arrogance from».

In the wake of the debate about Mr. Kasselakis’s motives, Mr. Androulakis emphasized: “At this moment, a day or two before the elections, instead of discussing accuracy, the problems of society, we are discussing where Mr. Kasselakis is from, the expensive cars, the rich houses. Is this what the Greek people want? These are also issues, but let’s discuss them first. This helps Mr. Mitsotakis. And I get to the point. Mr. Kasselakis likes Mr. Mitsotakis».

Regarding the reorganization of the center-left, Mr. Androulakis underlined: “I call on the faces of my generation and older generations to rebuild our common home, but always in political terms. However, I am not going to start a negotiation with people with whom I have no relation ideologically and politically and it will be absolutely unsuccessful. But with people with whom we share anxieties for there to be a real opponent of the New Democracy, I am committed».

Finally, regarding the tragedy of Tempe, the President of PASOK-Movement for Change, emphasized: “Mr. Mitsotakis knows very well that there is a causal connection between the untimely implementation of remote control, i.e. contract 717, and the tragedy that cost to 57 of our fellow human beings their lives. He knows very well that once the investigation into the remote control is completed, the “blue” children and those involved in the non-implementation of the project and corruption will pay dearly.”

“One of the reasons we have a huge abstention, is because millions of Greeks do you know what they say? The political and economic elite live in a veil of impunity, they are all far from justice, they can all do whatever they want and never pay for it.
