The course of implementation of the “Attica 2021 – 2027” Program and the strategic planning for the utilization of its resources NSRF in the following years, the governor of Attica will present Nikos Hardalias in the 3rd Monitoring Committee, which will take place in Aegina on Thursday (June 13) in the emblematic building of the Kapodistrian Orphanage.

“The projects and actions financed by the NSRF leave their mark on Attica and the citizens every day. They are works that are done for the citizens and delivered to them,” said N. Hardalias and added:

“We have in our hands a valuable financial tool of 1.6 billion euros, to implement projects and actions that will forever change the quality of life in the largest Region of the country. Our will is that not a single day, not a single euro be lost, in order to serve our goal of a sustainable, green, productive Attica, through major infrastructure projects, with the strengthening of entrepreneurship, employment and social cohesion in all 66 its neighborhoods”.

The regional governor pointed out that the Monitoring Committee is being held for the first time outside of Athens, in Aegina, and indeed in a historical landmark, the Kapodistrian Orphanage, the restoration of which was co-financed by the PEP ‘Attica 2014-2020’ “one of the 11,529 projects, which was realized thanks to the utilization of the financial tools of the NSRF and European resources”.

In the framework of the Monitoring Committee, in the afternoon (16:30 – 18.00), there will be an event on the Cohesion Policy, which will be attended by the general secretary of Public Investments and NSRF Dimitris Skalkos, the representatives of the General Directorate of Employment, Social Affairs and Integration of the European Committee Barbara Kauffmann and the General Directorate of Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission Carsten Rasmussen, as well as the mayor of Aegina Yiannis Zorbas. The debate will be moderated by journalist Maria Nikoltsiou.
