The Plenary of the Parliament decided to lift the immunity of MPs Markos Kafourou, Christina Starakas, Haris Mamoulakis and Baran Burhan.

For Markos Kafouros (ND), the request to waive immunity concerns the defamation offense allegedly committed in 2018 when Mr. Kafouros had the status of president of the Association of Cooperatives for Dairy Products.

For Christina Staraka (PASOK), the request to waive immunity concerns the crime of breach of duty she allegedly committed in 2018 as the deputy governor of Etoloakarnania.

For Haris Mamoulakis (SYRIZA), the request to waive immunity concerns bodily injury due to negligence by an obligee through omission and violation of labor legislation, in 2018.

For Baran Burhan (independent), the request to waive immunity concerns the failure to submit an asset declaration in 2019.

The Plenary rejected the request to waive the immunity of the president of the Hellenic Solution Kyriakos Velopoulos, which related to the misdemeanor of using official secrecy.
