On his TV and in “Morning Update» the Minister of Health was a guest, Adonis Georgiadiswho gave a full interview.

First, he refuted claims that Greece is at the bottom of average wage levels in Europe, citing a table with figures that put 15 countries below the country. “The Greeks are having a better time today than in 2019, Greece does not have a lower income than Bulgaria,” he said in response to previous claims by the MP

Referring to his internal affairs SYRIZAthe minister pointed out:

“Athina Linou is not my friend, but a political opponent, however at this moment with everything that is happening, she is called upon to prove that she is not an elephant. This is happening because SYRIZA is bathing in polarization and good luck with it.” At the same time, he expressed his assessment that Stefanos Kasselakis will not be president for much longer in the Official Opposition party, adding that “since the day Pavlos Polakis was deleted, Mr. Kasselakis has been telling him how much he loves him”.

“If Kasselakis deletes Linou, it is obvious that Polakis is the leader of SYRIZA. However, if Kasselakis deletes Polakis, then the latter will say that he was the victim of a corruption cover-up. Cliff front and stream behind. Why did all this happen? Because Mr. Kasselakis was never capable of being a leader.”

Regarding SYRIZA’s criticism of the government for dealing with firesMr. Georgiadis stated that “the reality says that we absorbed 1% for Civil Protection with 87% contracting. What does this mean? From the moment you start receiving what you have ordered – because you pay as soon as you receive them – the absorption can go from 1 to 87. The orders of everything that Mr. Kasselakis announced yesterday have been placed and have already been included in the AEGIS program”.

“The image of the collapse of the NHS is false”

“Is there? National Health System in the world that doesn’t have problems”, Adonis Georgiadis then wondered, when the discussion turned to Health. “You are not going to hear about the thousands of incidents that go well every day, but if the slightest deviation occurs, everyone will rush to blame the NSS. The truth is that the image of the collapse of the NHS is false”, as he characteristically noted, bringing some examples from current events:

“In Volos, a tourist suffered a stroke on Saturday and it is logical that there was no doctor, because this is what happens in every Regional Hospital of the country since the time of the late Gennimatas and Avgerinos. However, the ambulance arrived within 20 minutes from Domokos, as the nurse was well equipped. Unfortunately, we could not save her, because the obstruction was severe. Also, the pregnant woman in Preveza had constant monitoring and since there is no newborn clinic in the area, she had to be transferred to the Larissa Hospital by ambulance, accompanied by a qualified gynecologist and not a rural doctor who was falsely registered. Finally, the doctor in Samos did not have a stroke, but this does not negate the fact that we have huge problems on the island.”
