Although the ND remains consistently the first party and with a large difference, 15.4 points, from the second PASOK, it has not yet managed to increase its percentages compared to those of the European elections

It is possible that until the end of the year the government – in theory – will have the margin and the initiative of unhindered movements, due to the situation that prevails in the two largest opposition parties, however in Herodos Atticus they are well aware that their real opponent is itself and the efficiency against the problems that are undeniably running in Greek society.
Just a few twenty-four hours after the presence of the prime minister in TEF and the new measures he announced, the GPO’s first STAR poll came to confirm the urgency of the Prime Minister’s continued exhortations to his Ministers for speed and efficiency.
Although the ND remains consistently the first party and with a large difference, 15.4 points, from the second PASOKhowever, it has not yet managed to increase its percentages compared to those of the European elections and continues to move in “low flights” below 30%, at 27.2%.
Also for the first time in recent years, Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis is not recorded as the most popular politician, leaving the lead to Dimitris Koutsouba. The most indicative of all, however, is currently the first reaction of the respondents regarding the Prime Minister’s announcements at the TIF, for which 39.2% evaluate them positively and 57.4% evaluate them negatively.
An issue that was apparently listed as “climate” on his agenda Megaros Maximos and from there comes the demand to speed up policies and implement all those measures that will have a direct impact on improving the everyday life of citizens. The main fronts that test the government still remain unresolved, and until the citizens see the announcements implemented and the open issues addressed, the improvement in the ND’s poll image is expected by the “dropper”.
Particularly important, however, is the fact that, proven and with initiatives of measures, the government has absolute knowledge of the issues that trouble and make it difficult for the citizens and precisely there, like accuracy and health, it has focused and prioritized its efforts for solutions, which are already underway. And the citizens, after all, according to GPO poll61.7% believe that the government’s first priority should be to address accuracy, followed by the improvement of the health system with 43.2%. “Magic solutions do not exist” stress government officials, referring to the issue of accuracy, while understanding the difficulty of every household, but also recalling the government’s goal of continued income growth so that there are permanent and stable results.
At Megaros Maximos they believe that day by day the image is improving, even in very difficult matters, such as health or accuracy, where the first results have already begun to be seen. In any case, what government officials emphasize is that the “fund” will be created at the end of the four years, when the entire government plan for the country and its citizens will have been unfolded and implemented and its results will be recorded.
However, even though, every September, the party staffs have their eyes fixed on the poll records that also capture the “position in the race” of the new political season, this September, with the characteristics given to it by the reshuffles in SYRIZA and PASOK, can to lose the specific interest but acquires a “trap” character for the government. According to its own executives, resting on an unopposed lead and delaying its work or not listening to the voice of society could be self-defeating, therefore, according to the same executives, hard work is a one-way street so that when the two other parties return to the “race”, ND will still have a comfortable lead.
