With the presence of the prime minister Kyriakou Mitsotakis and all political initials except Dimitris Koutsouba and Kyriakos Velopoulos at 11 am in the Plenary Session of the Parliament, the established consecration for the start of the new parliamentary session was held.

At the consecration, which was performed by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos, the eyes of most MPs were focused on the PASOK parliamentary group, with Nikos Androulakis, appearing with the air of a winner, after his victory in yesterday’s first round internal party elections. Despite the fact that he did not want to make any statement to the journalists, the smiles of both the members of parliament who are on his staff and the president of PASOK were abundant, with the evening “derby” for second place between Doukas and Geroulanos being a key issue discussion in the wells of the green MPs, and not only. “Today is a bright sunny day for PASOK. May the 14th of October find us united to make our PASOK a great faction”, said Panagiotis Doudonis in the peristyle of the Parliament after the ceremony.
