Speaking in Parliament, the Minister of Labor gave as an example the increased declared overtime in security companies and supermarkets
From the floor of the Parliament, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, described the first data from the application of the digital work card, which – as she noted – records the actual working time, as “extremely encouraging”.
As examples he brought them increased reported overtime in security firms and supermarketsafter the implementation of the digital card measure:
Security companies recorded +11% more declared overtime, while supermarkets recorded +61% more declared overtime, after the implementation of the digital card.
At the same time, and in the context of a discussion of a topical question by the Hellenic Solution MP Stylianos Fotopoulos on the subject of “Abolition of the “annual staff table” (E4) and problems plaguing Greek businesses with the unreasonable obligation to digitally submit the “E11″ form”, Mrs. Kerameos stated that both the issue of the abolition of E4 and the issue of the possibility of correcting entries in E11 “we have initiated them. We are launching both towards a greater facilitation, overall, of the labor market. We have already held discussions with the social partners, and with the Labor Inspectorate, precisely in order to proceed with these changes, which require the completion of the implementation of “Ergani-2″, which is in the process of implementation”.
