The president of PASOK – Movement for Change, proposed a package of measures to deal with the increases in energy prices, Nikos Androulakis located since yesterday in Strasbourg.

Among other things, Mr. Androulakis asked:
– the imposition of a ceiling on energy prices to reduce the effects of electricity and gas increases on consumers
-regulation of the electricity market in order to address the distortions that exist
-the need for investment in networks and interconnection between Member States and especially Greece which is relatively energy isolated
-Targeted measures so that the most vulnerable can produce part of the electricity they consume through the installation of photovoltaics on the roofs as well as
– taxation of the super profits of energy producers.
